The Simplest Pumpkin Muffins EVER - Taste Great and Boy Does Your House Smell Edible Too!

Oh fall...I'm so glad you're arriving finally!  How I love the cool crisp breeze you bring!  The colorful leaves as they change and fall and especially the baked goods that not only add a few pounds on each of us, but also make our houses smell downright edible when they bake!
Tonight I made the easiest and simplest PUMPKIN MUFFINS ever (a recipe I saw on Facebook)!  Seriously with only two necessary ingredients (I also added chocolate chips and two teaspoons of milk...just because everything is better with a little chocolate added), you simply mix, put in the muffin tin, and bake at 350 degrees for about 18 to 20 minutes (or until the toothpick comes out clean).
These muffins not only look yummy (I had to taste test this one before it even cooled all the way)...but make your mouth water while you smell them baking!  And they taste absolutely delightful too!  Like a little bit of fall in your mouth!  If you love pumpkin and love "baking recipes" that are simple and easy (even a "YOUNG BAKER" could make these muffins), then I recommend you try making them too!

Perfect for "just because" or even for sharing this FALL...you'll thank me for sharing this recipe!

I was not paid to feature this post!  All products used for this post were purchased on my own accord!  I was not promoting any company or product in this post!  Just simply sharing a simple & delicious recipe with my readers!

Before You Go - See What It's All About - "SEAWORLD Halloween Spooktacular" Event REVIEW

Did you know that SeaWorld San Diego celebrates Halloween in a Spooktacular way?
Did you know that the entire month of October, kids can get into SeaWorld for free, with a full paying adult admission?

I was not offered any monetary compensation in return for my honest opinion about our experience at the SeaWorld Spooktacular Event.  We were offered admission into the park, for the day and a breakfast prior to the launch of the event.
We got up bright and early, the kids got "READY" for their day of trick or treating around the park and we headed down to San Diego to check out all the "SPOOKY FUN" stuff that we would be seeing & enjoying at the "kick off" of the Halloween Spooktacular event at SeaWorld San Diego.yesterday.
This blogging event offered us some delicious breakfast choices, crepes, breakfast burrito buffet, oatmeal buffet and even a cold cereal buffet.  My kid's bellies were delighted and we were ready to settle into an eventfully spooky day around the SeaWorld San Diego park.
Before we headed out into the park, we were introduced to some of the "spooky" animals that SeaWorld takes care of...and not all of them come from the SEA!  Aleera the Owl (did you know that owl's actually aren't very wise at all?), Taro the Porcupine (did you know their quills are actually kinda soft like a feather?), Simon the Alligator (who was actually a rescued pet), and Apollo the Hedgehog (who entertained my kids to the max by delivering several "SURPRISES" into the trainer's hand who was handling it).  Too funny!  My kids had the chance to ask tons of questions and learn about each one of these animals!  What an absolute blast!
Each of my kids were given a "trick or treating" bag (provided to all the trick or treater's at the park) & "make your own cookie" lunch pail and our ADVENTURE began...into the park we skipped for a fun filled day of sunshine, music, laughter, sea life and trick or treating fun!
Believe it or not, we were headed to the touch pools first (because the events didn't start till 11:00), so the kids could play with the feeder fish (despite us finding that the exhibit was closed for painting), when we bumped into Taylor.  I thought she was a DJ for the Spooktacular events, but she wasn't.  In fact, she was the biggest surprise we would have for our day.  She is an ambassador for the Parks 50th Anniversary Celebration and because we were in the RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME, she got to give the kids and I a special surprise!  She wasn't even sure what was inside our special card...so when the GOLD SEAL was opened, we were all so excited that we got "QUICK QUEUE PREMIER" wrist bracelets.  That meant that every show (we got premiere seating) and we got to head to the "FRONT OF THE LINE" for every ride.  AWESOMENESS!  My kids had already felt pretty special being invited to the park for the day, but this was truly the ICING ON THE CAKE (my birthday cake...since I had just celebrated this week).  What a blessing & delight!
So we did have amazing seats in every show...including the "Clyde and Seamore's SPOOKY Adventure"...which we all loved and enjoyed (and we got to see the very first showing this season).
Thanks to our Quick Queue Bracelets, we rode on the Journey to Atlantis ride three times!
And honestly, I think they would have gone ten more times!  I know they would have!
My kids stopped throughout the day to get their "TREATS" from the booths set up around the park for trick or treating, we danced to the music & took some pictures with the costumed characters and we event met a MERMAID (my girls couldn't get over how pretty she was)!  SO MUCH FUN!
We loved seeing all the other shows...too!  And our seats WERE AWESOME!  We avoided (thank goodness) the "SPLASH ZONE", yet could see all the fun details!  Up close and personal!

As always, I am impressed with the park in general!  The kids and I love to see the PERSONAL connection between the animals and their trainers.  The respect that both give to each other!  So magestic!  So amazing!  It inspires my kids!  We left the park yesterday with at least two girls who are inspired to work with animals someday!

Yet another AMAZING DAY at SeaWorld San Diego.  Thank you!  We had a blast at your Halloween Spooktacular!  Hope we can visit again soon!

I was not paid to offer my honest opinion about the SeaWorld Park, it's Halloween Spooktacular Event or any of our interactions during the day!  We were invited to the blogging breakfast and given free admission to the park for the day, so we could experience and share with my readers what their Halloween Spooktacular is all about!

Getting Into The @SpiritHalloween - In Stores and Online

Halloween will be here in just about a month!
Have you already started planning for your costumes?
Will your family be a "GROUP" theme?
Do your kids like to do their own thing?
Are you attending a party and have to be a character?
Maybe you like to be something dark and scary?

All products sent for this review/feature were went free of charge (I was provided two $25 Spirit Halloween gift cards to purchase a costume or Halloween supplies for this review/feature).  I was not offered any monetary compensation by posting my honest opinions about the store, the costumes, the employees or my experience.

Whatever you're looking for...Halloween shopping can be a tad stressful and expensive.
I was delighted to have the chance to check out Spirit Halloween's store in Murrieta today (on my birthday)...and shop through their HUGE (this is a large warehouse type store) selection of adult costumes.  I even had a personal shopper (she was so sweet and even helped me take pictures) pick out some costumes she thought would fit me best and are some of the hottest they have this Halloween Season...
and no, I'm not talking about Elsa...

All of the costumes I tried on were well constructed, had fun accessories that made the "LOOK" complete and though I may not wear all or any of these to a party...it was still fun to try them on and step out of my comfort zone a little...in the spirit of Halloween.
Did you know that Spirit Halloween offers more than just costumes?
They have just about any "SPOOKY" decoration you can think of, for a party, event or just because.  They have a huge selection of masks, pumpkin products (carving tools, lights, etc) and some majorly cool animatronics that will make you scream in fright.
Spirit Halloween also raises money for charity!
Right now, you can make a donation for #spiritofchildren, by purchasing these bracelets or just making a contribution.  I love companies that use some of their profits for a good cause!  I am thankful I was able to donate $10 towards this charity through my purchase of these bracelets as well.

So do I have your brain swirling with ideas?  Perhaps your child knows exactly what they want to be.  You can shop online (CLICK HERE) or find a store near you (CLICK HERE to find a store).  Regardless, you will find a huge selection of all the popular costumes that your family will have a blast wearing this Halloween.

I was not paid to feature this post!  I was offered two $25 SpirtHalloween gift cards to spend in their store or online, for my experience  in writing about this blog post.

#ColgateEnamelHealth - Would You Want To Know The SECRET??

I dread going to the dentist!  But I will admit...that whenever I leave their office...I always feel like smiling!  Why?  Because typically my teeth have been cleaned and polished by the hygienist and they are in perfectly smooth, shiny, tip top condition.

All products for this review/feature were sent free of charge by the company.  I was not offered any monetary compensation by posting my honest and true feelings on the products.

What about you?  Do you find that you smile more...right after you the leave the dentist office?
Of course, unless you've had something major done and you can't feel half of your face!
What if I could tell you about a product like from Colgate that's about to launch that could have you smiling like that everyday...just by simply brushing your teeth at home?
I received a fun "EXPERIMENT" review, to give me a sneak peak of the Colgate Enamel Health line and teach me more about the overall health of my teeth.
This gave me not only the opportunity to better understand why our teeth get into the condition they do (when they are not being cared for correctly), which was also a great lesson for my kids to see as well...but also try and enjoy a product that will possibly improve the overall health of my teeth and the enamel of my teeth.  I am very much a HANDS ON learner...so these types of experiments help me understand so much better than just hearing someone say it!
The experiment consisted of a piece of sandpaper, a piece of wax paper and cornmeal.  Cornmeal, as you know, is pretty rough in consistency...but when applied to the right texture...will stick.  Just like bacteria will stick to the enamel of your teeth, if you do not properly clean them.  So I tried the experiment.  And yes...obviously the cornmeal stuck to the sandpaper and fell right off the was paper.  Sometimes we are VISUAL learners and this does help me understand the concept in regards to my teeth.
The NEW Colgate® Enamel Health TM Toothpaste helps smooth enamel in two ways:
I will admit that after brushing with my new Colgate 360 Enamel Health Toothbrush (Sensitive) and the new Colgate Enamel Health Whitening Toothpaste (which I need the extra whitening help, to keep my teeth whiter...since I drink coffee)...my teeth feel clean, smooth and my overall feel of my mouth is cleaner.  I can't stop running my tongue across my teeth, because they feel so smooth and polished!  NO JOKE!  SO FAR...I am very impressed with these products.
Everyone loves to see a bright, clean smile greeting them when they come in the door, right?
I know I do!  And I know I want to be confident in my smile as well.
SO THANK YOU Colgate Enamel Health!

I like having a CONFIDENT COLGATE SMILE!

An Upcycled Bag To Carry It All - Ja Ja Ja - Fabrics That Live Again In A Fashionable Bag

I am an advocate for recycling and repurposing things!  In fact, I think it's not only a great way to be friendly to this earth, but it brings to life older things (fabric, furniture, items) that still have plenty of life left to live!  I've been known to UPCYCLE a few things on my own...but I also appreciate businesses, who make it their passion to find, update and resell products that they have put the same time and passion into.

All products were sent free of charge for this review/feature!  I was not offered any monetary compensation by posting about my honest opinions on this product.

I had the pleasure of learning about a company...started by three sisters...who's passion to upcyle and repurpose fabrics comes to life in awesome items in their amazing product line...
Ja Ja Ja Purses - the Tina Expanding Large Project Bag...arrived at my house and my first thought was..."wow...this is a HUGE colorful BAG!"
I LOVE IT!  Honestly, my girls instantly loved it too!
Not only is this bag LARGE and in charge, but it has pockets galore (inside and outside).  I do not knit, but I can think of plenty of other purposes for this bag in a busy household with four kids.  This bag will probably be headed to the beach with us at some point in the near future!  Probably headed to an overnight sleepover with the kids someday!  Maybe even an overnight sleepover for mommy!  It will probably be packed for car trips and maybe even sporting events and I am certain this bag will be given it's fair share of LOVE!
The fabric is bright, bold and looks like it came from a timeshare in Palm Springs, where my family used to stay...when I was about 10.  As corny as it sounds, I love it!  I always felt comfortable and "FANCY" when we would go stay in our time shares!  They were always decorated to the hilt and had artsy designer touches that were not like our typical "at home" setting.
Maybe that's why I think this fabric is the perfect EYE POPPING look for my new bag?

I also love that this bag expands!  It has side snaps that can be left apart, if you have an overflowing full bag, and can be snapped together if you want things snug and secure inside your Tina Bag.
Plus...most of their items are ONE OF A KIND...so if you want an original...their company is one you'll love!
I mean, I honestly believe that as this bag travels with our family, it will be something to catch other's eyes and attention and I can't wait to tell them it's a 3GreenSisters Ja Ja Ja Tina Bag.
And I love to share about things that I LOVE!
Maybe they will order one too!

Labeling Couldn't Be Easier Or More Personal - Epson Labelworks LW-600P

With four kids, keeping track of things can get pretty confusing sometimes!  We sometimes have four of the same thing in our little place!   Take my word for it...my kids don't like when we can't differentiate who's is who's around here... and they expect me to keep things straight around here!

All products were sent free of charge for this review/feature by the company.  I was not offered any monetary compensation by posting my honest opinions about this product.

But honestly, I cannot afford to buy personalized labels for each kid for all their stuff and I don't want to sharpie all over everything!  It adds up...the personalized stuff...and if you're a parent, you know what I'm talking about.

So how can a mommy cut her costs and still get things organized and personalized, in just a few quick seconds?  Like...it's as easy as downloading an app, typing in the name and hitting the print button.  Would that be something you'd like to learn more about?  It definitely was something I wanted to try out!
I received the bluetooth enabled Epson LabelWorks LW-600P printer and it seems that as soon as I took it out of the box, plugged it in and downloaded the app on my phone, I was printing like crazy!
The labels that came with the LabelWorks LW-600P are perfect for everything you want to label around the house.  You type, print, peel, stick and it's LABELED!  I LOVE THIS!
I also received the Iron On Labels to try out and these are just as easy to print out as the normal labels...with the exception that you iron them into clothing, on ribbons, etc.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE IRON ON LABELS!
We have lost jackets through the school year...and that shouldn't happen anymore, because we will have labels ironed in them, that are ironed on...not just stuck on.  I can also make SPIRIT RIBBONS for the girls for school...and maybe even their little girlfriends...quickly and easily.
LOVE IT!  And yes, they are dry clean and machine washing safe.
This little LabelWorks LW-600P printer and labels is something I will use year round, but especially during the school year.  It works with two downloadable apps, the Epson iLabel and the Epson iPrint and it is also compatible with the ScanLife app, where you can create your own QR code (you better believe I'll be creating one for One Bored Mommy) to personalize even your business stuff.

CLICK HERE to learn more about this wonderful labeling printer...and consider purchasing one for your family!
