Don't you hate it when your child has a stuffed up nose. Even worse, when your baby can't breathe and they fuss and cry because they don't understand why. Then you MUST check out the
http://www.nosefrida.com/My first attempt with the NoseFrida was with Clayton this afternoon (after we got it in the mail today). The poor guys has had some sort of cold virus for the past two days (he hasn't gone to school because of it) and his throat and runny nose have taken their toll on him. He was the perfect candidate to let me try it out. At first, I won't kid you...I thought the concept of my
But the way it's designed, unless you have the suction power of a super hero, there is no way possible the snot would ever get to your mouth. Besides that, it would have to go through their disposable filters before reaching the part you are sucking on.
We got out (without being to graphic) so much I could barely believe it. The end result...he felt a lot better and could breathe a lot easier. Here is a little video of me using on Clayton (he looks like he's in pain because he had his eyes shut and wasn't sure what was going to happen).
Of course you can't hear anything because my camera doesn't do sound (anyone that wants to do a product review of digital cameras...I'd love to help you out), but we were giggling and he was a good sport.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT! It is very inexpensive and the results that it gives are 100% worth every cent you spend. If you don't believe me...read the reviews on their site.
YES...so go to their site and check it out! Come back and comment on this blogspot about who you would use this NoseFrida system on if you won it. This giveaway will end on March 6th, 2009. Please let the company know you heard about them from the ONE BORED MOMMY blogspot.

This is great! I would have LOVED to have this for Jill a few nights ago when she was so stuffed up she ended up sleeping in my bed, Which I'm not a big fan of! I would love to have one of these.

Sick!!! Wouldn't it be funny if I won it since I am giving my actual gut reaction to it! I guess it is something you have to try to appreciate. Appears to really work though as you could see snot streaming down Clayton's face in the video. I'm sure it would come in handy for children....somehow I couldn't picture using it on my husband or he on me. If Carollee wins it I expect to see a video demonstration of her using it on Kingston. :)
This is so cool! A girl I work with was just telling me that when her kids would get sick her grandmother would suck the snot out of their noses with her mouth...gross! but hey it worked :O) i love this though...same concept without having to really come in contact with the snot. i would definitely use this on my son and daughter....since they don't know how to blow their noses yet. thanks so much...just checked out the website

I would definitely use it on keega - he seems to catch every bug that goes around - what an amazing product!!
That is great! My boys get the worst snotty noses!!
This is pretty cool. It made my stomach roll but I'm assured I won't get any snot in my mouth so I think it's be a lifesaver with my son!
Thanks for the entry

Wow, this looks like it just might work. I would use it on my youngest daughter. I am sure it might freak my older one out just a bit...."mommy is drinking Chloe's boogers"

Does it give you a gross taste in your mouth? Kinda interesting if it works I would love to try it out on one of my twins and then buy a second the bulb syringe is a pain
Grosses me out a bit, but a friend of mine has one and says it's great. I'd use it on all of my kids, but my youngest (who is 18 months) is in need of it most right now.

Genius! Nolan had a viral cold last week and that is so who I could have used this on! He is 2 months and like all 2 month olds the repetitive suctioning drives them crazy. This looks like it could de-bugger them in one fatal swoop
Wow, what timing. My son is currently sick and this would definitely come in handy! We are expecting another little one in 2 months so I am sure that we would get a lot of use out of a product like this!
