Hero Nutritionals ~Yummi Gummi Product Review & Giveaway~

First, I must ask…does your family take vitamins? I’ll be completely honest with you…our family does on occasion, but we are not consistent. I am consistent when I am pregnant & breastfeeding, with taking my prenatal vitamins, but we have never been consistent about dosing out vitamins to the rest of the family unless we are getting a cold, etc.

So, with that being said, I was introduced to a company this week that I feel is vital for our family’s health and well being and therefore, I must share. I must share because it just might be vital for your family’s health and well being also.

This company had a very creative way of disguising vitamins and nutrients into candy-like yummi gummy products. HELLO…can you say perfect for my family of 6 (four of which are children under the age of 7)? LOL! I truly don’t know if there could be a more perfect match, for getting children to take the vitamins they need for their growing bodies, by putting it in a YUMMI gummy bear form? Now…truth be told…GUMMY BEARS (especially the sour ones) are my favorite candy (aside from the good old Hershey bar) so I was sold the second I saw them online and was hoping they would do a product review with us so I could sample their nutritional goodness.

Hero Nutritionals sent us a box full of these amazing gummy chewable vitamins to try out I was so excited to see the varieties they had of Yummi Gummy vitamins for children, because my children’s health (even though we haven’t been doing the vitamin thing) is very important to me. They have YUMMI Bears in just about any multi-vitamin mix you could think of. They have Yummy bears with calcium, they have some for children who are vegetarian, they even have a pack that is for day/nighttime (for children’s memory and focus…so we are trying this out on Clayton). I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS COMPANY! LITERALLY! Who could ask for a better disguise for something nutritional in a typically non-nutritional package?

Not only did they send us samples for the kids to try out…we also got a variety of their “Slices of Life” adult vitamins. OH YES…mama definitely needs the extra energy, since sleep is lacking around this house and has been for about 7 years now. LOL! They have several different types for adults. All of which have natural fruit flavors, are easy to chew (they are gummy for heaven sakes) and are allergen and gluten free. I’m not going to tell you all about them, because I want you to check this company out for yourself. But let me just say…their Vitamin B12 Energy has made a HUGE difference in my day since I have been using it and I am so thankful!

I have to tell you…the first day these came…I took the suggested amount of each of the “Slices of Life” vitamins they sent us to review and after about an hour, I was feeling great! I don’t just mean great, I was feeling full of energy, vibrant & ready to go, etc. WOW…what a difference a few vitamins can make, huh? The thing that made it even more mind blowing, was that I knew that I was doing something good for my body and at the same time indulging in a little gummy candy goodness! LOL! I felt like a kid in the candy store, but a healthy candy store! LOL!

Now…I must issue a brief caution with these products after my last statement. You must keep them up in a safe place where the kids can’t get to them. Why? Because they are so delicious and inconspicuous in hiding the “vitamin factor” the kids are going to be coming back for more (mine did at least). You don’t want to give them more than the daily-recommended amount or they might get a tummy ache. A positive side note, if they do eat to many...the only side effect will be a little tummy trouble. Another reason I love this company!
