The Homestead Company Product Review & Giveaway

Diaper Rash is such an awful thing to deal with, for both baby and mommy. I think back to all four of my babies, when they were in diapers, and remember times when I wondered what I could do to soothe the pain of red, hot diaper rash. Thankfully, my kids did not get it often (but I know there are some children than do), but getting rid of it was sometimes not an easy task at hand.http://www.homesteadcompany.com/

I want to introduce you to The Homestead Company. This family owned business offeres quality skin care products that are natural, safe and effective. I was actually referred to them by a friend who "SWEARS" by their diaper rash products (and I believe her). All of their products are backed by a 100% money back guarantee (so how could you go wrong trying them out, right?).
The Homestead Company sent us a few products to review and even though Mason doesn't currently have diaper rash, I was very pleased with the products they sent us. All of the products have a light, airy fragrance. My favorite was the Orange Eucalyptus Baby Wipe Companion spray scent. But we also got to try the Fragrance Free Baby Wipe Companion spray, the Lavendar Baby Wipe Companion spray and the Love Nighttime Baby Butter (which is a great way to soothe your baby with scents, getting them ready for a deeper sleep).

Now, The Homestead Company doesn't just offer baby products, they also have a full line of natural skincare products for adults too. They have an Eczema Oil that is guaranteed to relieve your skin from eczema or your money back. Wow...sounds like they are pretty sure of their products, right?

The Homestead Company would like to extend their products to (1) Lucky Viewer. This viewer has the opportunity to win their Mommy & Baby Gift/Starter Set!

To enter this giveaway:
  • 1st - head over to http://www.homesteadcompany.com and tell me what you would like to try
  • 2nd - tell me if you've ever had an episode with diaper rash that you couldn't get rid of and what it took to make it go away
  • 3rd - follow this blogspot & comment that you do
  • 4th - tweet about this giveaway and comment that you did
  • 5th - blog about this giveaway and leave a link that you did, so I can read it too

This giveaway will end on July 30, 2009 and is open to US Residents only!

Thank you The Homestead Company for introducing me to your fabulous products. I hope that by being featured, other mommies that struggle with re-occuring and painfully awful diaper rash can find relief in using your baby line.

When my oldest daughter was a baby she had terrible diaper rashes. We ended up changing diaper brands as well as using an all natural diaper cream.

My son had extreme diaper rash when he was in cloth diapers. I had to switch to disposables.

I would love to try the eczema oil. I've tried everything for my son, including eliminating foods from his diet, to no avail. I'm always looking for something new to try.

I would really like their hand and foot scrub or their foot spa gift set. I just LOVE pedicures.

Thank goodness my daughter has never had diaper rash really. She's had 1 or 2 little bumps but that's it. But my niece and nephews all 3 have gotten pretty bad diaper rashes. My sister-in-law would just have to change them all the time and put something like a&d on it because really nothing worked. It just had to go away on it's own.

Yes, one time my daughter had a diaper rash so bad becasue my in-laws decided to feed her a lot of fruit and it just burned her little bottom so bad, I kept giving her baths in baking soda and in between baths I wiped her with baking soda mixed in to a wet rag. It works well but the ointment is what can make it or break it for you.

Once my son had a terrible diaper rash, and we couldn't even figure out why he had it in the first place because I'm super-paranoid about his poor little butt. We ended up having to take him to the doctor and getting a prescription, and between that and letting him sleep without a diaper on we finally got it cleared up. It was terrible though!

I've got 6 kids & the worst diaper rashes we've ever had were from teething. Letting baby go without a diaper & using a blow dryer on baby's bottom after bath was the only thing that cleared it up.

My son had a reaction to an antibiotic. He developed a horrible diaper rash. I had to take him to the doctor. She had me mix a diaper rash cream, myclex and neosporin together and put it on the rash. It healed it up.
