Thank goodness my daughter has never had diaper rash really. She's had 1 or 2 little bumps but that's it. But my niece and nephews all 3 have gotten pretty bad diaper rashes. My sister-in-law would just have to change them all the time and put something like a&d on it because really nothing worked. It just had to go away on it's own.

Live Offensively...

I must tell you about this company that is stopping people in their tracks when they read their shirts. http://www.liveoffensively.com/

Some people may find these shirts offensive, other's may find them cute. I love them! I love shirts that have bold statements...maybe because I am a bold person who likes to have her "still small voice" heard.
So please forgive me if you are offended by me posting these shirts...but I truly think that the world would be a different place to live in (especially for my kids) if people would just "man up" and say what they think. I mean...the other guy does, right? Why can't we...the ones that are trying to "do what is right" & make a statement too? A positive one that could impact
people, make them think a little differently and maybe help the world spin in the other direction!

I say...LIVE OFFENSIVELY (life is to short not to) if that's what it takes to change the world. Head to their site at http://www.liveoffensively.com/ (if you're with me on this) and buy a t-shirt today. If not...disregard this entire blogspot! LOL!

The Pipsqueak Boutique - A shamless plug...

My sister has an online children's boutique called:
http://thepipsqueakboutique.com/

She just called me hysterical on the phone. You'll never guess who was seen wearing her products for their 1st birthday? Stella, Tori & Dean's little "LADYBUG" (from the show Tori & Dean "Home Sweet Home" on the Oxygen Network).

Yes...her ladybug tutu, onesie and headband were shown when Tori's family comes to visit them.

So, please check out my sister's online site (me & my baby are one of her graphics for gifts & gear)...her products are not up yet, but she makes "special order" onesies, tutus, hair pretties and more. Just hit the contact button if you're interested in ordering something special for your little one, like the set she made for Tori & Dean's little "LADYBUG".

HouseParty.com - Hosting a Birthday Bash thanks to Lunchables...

I am so excited. I just got e-mail notification that out of thousands of entries, our family got picked to host a "Oscar Meyer Lunchables Houseparty" and guess what date it falls on? My son's 1st birthday party day. His actual birthday is a day later...but who's counting? LOL! So now, I get to plan a "virtually free" 1st birthday party thanks to http://www.houseparty.com

Just had to share...I'm so excited!

My Princess Closet - Product Review

I have to little princesses that live in my house. If you ask them...they will tell you that they are. Especially the younger one. She has quite the imagination. She loves to play "dress up" and can spend hours chatting on a play phone to nobody but herself. Two pretty princesses that love "PRINCESS" projects and things... http://www.myprincesscloset.com/

The name of this business just suits my daughter's perfectly! My Princess Closet offers an amazing assortment of things that every little "princess" would love to have. They have clothes, they have "dress up" clothes, they have jewelry, they have projects for princesses, etc. You get the idea.
We got the chance to try out one of the PRINCESS projects they offer in their online store. And since I have two princesses, they both got to take part. We got to try their "The Decorate Your Own Wooden Princess Wand" from toy makers Melissa and Doug (only $7 in their online store). OH MY GOODNESS...two very happy princess's couldn't wait to get their sticky paws on these kits and start creating their own princess wand. We laid out everything (on wax paper, in case they got a little crazy with the paint), and they got started... Please keep in mind that Payton is only three...so I had to assist her a little in the painting/glitter paint area. Though she really didn't require much assistance. Brooklyn spent quality time making sure she painted her's "just right" and made it look as perfect as possible. That's my girl! LOL! Total perfectionist already!
Their wands turned out great & they feel even more like Princesses than they did when they started the project. POSITIVELY LOVELY!
If you have a princess in your house, or know of one that you're looking for the perfect present for...I would check out http://www.myprincesscloset.com/ before you look anywhere else. Chances are, you're going to find the perfect gift right there in their online store.

Warm Whiskers - Polar Bear Slippers Review

I am in love...with a pair of slippers. Why? These are no ordinary slippers. These slippers were made for "TIRED" feet, or even "Swollen" feet. These slippers were made to comfort, relax and refresh my feet. Who knew I could enjoy a pair of slippers so much?http://www.warmwhiskers.com/

Warm Whiskers offers a variety of products that do the same thing for almost your entire body. They have neck wraps, slippers, body wraps, eye pillows, pocket critters (for hand warmers or boo boo's), body pillows & even a "pampered pets" line with heatable pet beds. These incredible products have a heat insert filled with buckwheat and lavendar that you heat up in the microwave & then put back in your product. You can also put this insert in the freezer to help you reduce swelling in certain parts of the body. NICE, right?

I got to review the Polar Bear Slippers and let me tell you...they are amazing! All you have to do is un-velcro the side, take out the little insert, warm it up in the microwave, place it back in the slipper, slide it on your foot and sit and enjoy the warmth that soon surrounds your entire bottom of your foot. Ahhhh...so relaxing!

Now, I know it's not quite "Christmas Shopping" time yet, but I can tell you what...these products would make perfect gifts for someone who has everything. I would recommend that you seek out Warm Whiskers today and purchase something soothing for yourself or friend/family member. You will not be disappointed!

ShopRite Partner's In Caring Program - Please Help Out

I have always had a soft spot for the "HOMELESS & HUNGRY" in our nation. I don't know why, but even as a little girl (you can ask my family), I would walk up to a homeless person on the street and hug them. Since I've been married, I've even talked my husband into going with me to a park (with our two kids) and feeding an entire park (in a horrible neighborhood) a free lunch. Talk about a huge blessing! More for us than for the people we fed.
It's so hard for me to imagine not having something to eat. Can you? Can you imagine knowing that you don't have the money to buy food for your kids to eat? Knowing that they are going to go to bed with empty stomachs? Talk about heart breaking, right? It happens a lot more often than you realize, or people care to think about!
**
I am officially a "Blogger in Caring" for ShopRite's "Partner's In Caring Program". I am joining with them to “Blog It Forward To Fight Hunger”!What is Partner's In Care? Glad you should ask...it is a year-round, community-based, hunger-fighting initiative that works with more than 50 food industry manufacturers to provide $2 million annually to qualified charitable agencies in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. They have been doing this for the past 10 years. Making a difference in people's lives by providing them with something to eat.

How can you Help?
Support ShopRite Partners In Caring by shopping at your local ShopRite, and look for the special ShopRite Partners In Caring shelf tag. The manufacturers of these products will make a donation to ShopRite Partners In Caring, contributing to the program and its success.

You can also help by leaving a comment on this blogspot. The first 30 comments on this specific blogspot (with your name included) will make a tremendous difference! So please tell me what you can do to make a difference in your neighborhood? ShopRite & General Mills will donate a box of cereal to a foodbank in your honor. Isn't that cool? And such a simple thing that can make such a huge impact on someone that is hungry & in need.

Noah's Ark Animal Workshop - Product Review

We have 3 immediate family birthdays in August. All three of my boys (my husband and two boys) have their birthdays in that month and it makes it an overwhelming time for mommy, when it comes to planning parties for them all. I may have found a great answer to my "birthday party planning" problem. http://www.noahsarkworkshop.com/annetteyen34/

Noah's Ark Animal Workshop offers amazing "unstuffed" animals that brings the party to your house. These little creatures are guaranteed to bring a smile to your child's face and gives them the opportunity to make their animal "one-of-a-kind" and their very own. Each animal kit comes with the animal body, the stuffing, their own "make a wish" star, an ark abode carrier, birth certificate and stuffing instructions. Couldn't be much simpler than that, right?

I know that your children's faces will light up, because you should have seen mine when the package arrived for review. Ummm...hello...four very excited kids saw me pull out the bits & pieces of our project and could barely contain their excitement. I finally got them all laid out to see what we received...
We got a monkey for Clayton, a Poodle Purse for Brooklyn (from their Bella Bee Line), a Strawberry Shortcake (couldn't have been more perfect) for Payton and a Bumble Bear for Mason. Along with the animals, we got the rest of the parts required to make this an exciting afternoon activity for our whole family.
The kids each took their "wish star" and made individual wishes for their new stuffed animals. So cute...they were pretty serious about making these wishes. I let Brooklyn make Mason's wish for his, since her purse did not require one.
So we proceeded with our own "Noah's Art Animal Workshop"...and the kids began stuffing their animals:

Brooklyn shows us how to close up our animal when we are finished stuffing it.

video

Can you tell they were very pleased with their new creations? And I was pleased with how quick, easy, effortless and fun this was for our family. I can see this being a marvelous idea for maybe a "1st" birthday party I will be planning next month? Hmmm...
Because Brooklyn's wasn't exactly the same as the rest...she got to review the "Bella Bee" line for girls. This purse came with 1 - Lip Gloss, 1 - Glitz Stick, 1 - Nail Polish, 1 - Body Gel, & 1 - Fashion Accessory of your choice (which was her pretty princess crown). Can you say, "every little girls dream?" She was overjoyed by the surprise inside her purse and couldn't wait to start glitzing herself up with her glittery new make-up. LOL! video
Her birthday is coming in October and I know what kind of party she'll be begging me for now too! In fact, two seconds after we completed them, she started asking me if she could "collect" them. Gotta love a girl who knows what she likes!
My overall experience with the Noah's Ark Animal Workshop was nothing but pure joy! I loved every second. The animals were very nice quality, there was plenty of stuffing, I love the "wish star" idea (what kid doesn't like to make a wish?), and they were simple enough for even a three year old to participate (with minimal help).
Thank you to Annette Yen & her Noah's Art Animal Workshop business for letting us have the chance to check this out for our viewers. I would not only recommend, but suggest that you consider this for your next planned birthday party. If you live close by one of their vendors, they can even come to your house and help set it all up for you.
