Do You Feed Your Kids CEREAL For Breakfast? #WIN This Prize Pack From General Mills! #MYBLOGSPARK

Funny story...my husband and I just had a "bit of a heated" discussion about what to feed the kids for breakfast in the morning!  I grew up eating a bowl of cereal before school every morning.  My husband was served a full course country breakfast.  It's funny how every family has different ways of handling things...including meal time.

I have no problem serving my kids cereal, as long as it's fairly healthy & loaded with whole grains, for their growing bodies.  I remember being a kid and really disliking cereal that was not sweet...and my kids are the same way.  They just won't eat it!  Is it the same way in your house?

How can you find a compromise?  A cereal that tastes good enough for them to eat, but is loaded with Whole Grains that are good for them?
Did you know that some General Mills Cereals have "WHOLE GRAINS"?  Now every cereal with the white check has more whole grain than any other single ingredient with the same great taste. You will see “whole grain” as a part of the first ingredient on the ingredient list, indicating that whole grain is the first and most prevalent ingredient.
Dr. Stork (host of "The Doctors") has some additional recommendations to help you include whole grain easily into your diet. They include:
Make a commitment to add more whole grain to your diet by simply pouring a bowl of cereal with the white check including Cheerios®, Lucky Charms®, Cinnamon Toast Crunch®, Honey Nut Cheerios® and Total®.
Would you be interested in winning a prize pack of (5) specially marked boxes of General Mills Cereal (like we received)?  Enter to win below:

I was not paid to feature this post!  I was compensated only by the product sent for review/feature!  “Disclosure: The prize pack, information, and giveaway have been provided by General Mills through MyBlogSpark.”

I sort of did--I knew to look for it, but usually stumble through labeling to find the information.

I always read the ingredients, but I didn't know that's what the white check mark meant.

I knew to read the labels, which I do if it is important and whole grains are.
