He Can Never Wear It Again...But At Least We Upcycled It To Something We Can Use It For...

My husband is a HUGE Ohio State Fan!  He has lots of Ohio State Tee Shirts...but sometimes they get terribly worn out, stained or ripped.  So what happens to the tees in your house when they get ripped or simply WORN OUT?  Do you throw them out?

I saw a project on Pinterest today that inspired me to UPCYCLE one of his "favorite" Ohio State t-shirts, so it didn't have to be thrown out...and can still be used by our family!
Now, after a few cuts and stitches of the sewing machine, it's an "Upcycled Bag"...perfect for grocery shopping, carrying books or whatever else we might want to use it for.
Because my husband wears an XL shirt...this bag is HUGE inside too!  You can't tell, but inside it (in the picture above) is a 3 pack of paper towels...and there is plenty of room to spare.  LOVE IT!!

You can CLICK HERE to find the link, that will show you the same tutorial I used to make this Upcycled Tee Shirt Bag.

That's a great idea! My 9-year-old son has a lot of t-shirts that he's outgrown. I'm going to try making some smaller bags out of those.

This is a great idea! We are moving soon and doing some cleaning. This will be a wonderful way to deal with the old Tees.
