In our house...we have plenty of HAIR!!
Because our girls have the most amazingly thick, semi wavy hair...it means that sometimes hair time is not the most "ENJOYABLE" time of their day. Why? Snarls, knots and sometimes a little tugging too! And since the girls have reached an age of "DOING THEIR HAIR THEMSELVES" sometimes...it can be quite a challenge in the morning for them, on their own, too!
So how can we make "HAIR TIME" in our house more enjoyable?
Because a girl has to brush her hair...
Perhaps Sweet Locks Brushes will help us make it an all around better
"SCENTED" experience at least...
We received two Sweet Locks Brushes (Cheeky Cherylime and Strawberry Sweetcake) that announced their presence before I even opened the package.
Wish this blog had smellovision...because you'd have to smell it to believe it!
(These were sent free of charge for this review/feature and I was not paid to give my honest opinion of these products).
These are very nice, large, sturdy and super cute padded brushes...with glitter and all. The LURE here, the part that makes these brushes different than the typical, is the scented part.
Honestly, I think it's a little too strong personally for our liking.
Maybe it was the combination of the two brushes together?
The girls were curious about the smells...but because it's SUPER SWEET scented and very strong (maybe over the course of time, as it wears off, it will be more enjoyable),but it made us a little queasy...perhaps we are a little sensitive to stronger scents? I love the concept...but the overwhelming scent cause the girls to not want to brush their hair with them. In fact, they were looking for a way to get the scent out, so they could keep the cool brushes...cause they liked the brushes themselves.
Sweet Locks will be adding a couple new scents coming soon: "Good Good Grape Drop" and "Wicked Watermelon".
