Sunburns are bad! Not only are they bad for your skin...and your long term health of your skin, but also because they HURT bad too! I am a bit neurotic about putting sunscreen on my kids, especially until they have established a decent base tan, in an effort to avoid any issues with sunburning during the hot summer months! If I can avoid my kids getting a sunburn, I'm going to do everything I can!
(These products were sent on behalf of this company, free of charge, for this review/feature and I was not paid to offer my honest opinion about these products!)
However, it's easy to forget to apply sunscreen before heading out to an event you may not even think about needing sunscreen for. Or forgetting to re-apply after the allotted time in the sun!
How do you get SUNBURN relief?
I just received some products from SUNBURNT & First Degree, that I am so glad that I will have on hand in case we get a really bad sunburn at our house!
Their products are Homeopathic, so I feel comfortable using them even on my children's sensitive skin!
The SunBurnt After Sun Gel is nice to use, even if you haven't gotten a BURN, to soothe and hydrate your skin after being in the sun for an extended amount of time! If I was a lifeguard, I'd take stock in this product! It helps ease temporary symptoms of sunburn, such as burning, redness, stinging, rawness, itching and dryness!
Recommended for ages 2 years and up.
The "First Degree" Burn Cream is another awesome product for us to have on hand...and not just for sunburns (but it will work for that too). This product will help soothe burns from the stove top (yes, mommy gets those from time to time, especially when frying bacon), curling iron "bumps", and anything else that might cause epidermal burns and scalds I am so glad I will have this in my medicine cabinet to use in case we have an "accident" of this nature!
Again, this product is recommended for ages 2 and up.
Both of these products are homeopathic options for burns and I am so glad that we have them on hand for these type of NEEDS!
