Peeps Minis - Marshmallowy Sweetness Year Round

As you know, I don't feel like Easter Baskets are complete without some of those sweet, marshmallow chicks included...

All products were sent free of charge for this review/feature!  I was not offered any monetary compensation by posting about my honest opinions & feelings on these products!

But what if I told you that can get a few of those sweet little treats every day of the year...not just EASTER TIME?  Would that make you excited?
Peeps Mini's arrived today (mind you it's been really, really warm here) and the kids were excited!  But since the package arrived when it was very warm, I wanted to let them cool down before I tried to open the package.  I wasn't sure how the Peeps Minis would fare in the HOT temps.
I mean...they are just marshmallow chicks for heaven sakes!
So this evening, the oldest and myself took a sampling of the three delicious Peeps Minis flavors: Strawberry Creme, Chocolate Creme and Sour WatermelonThe Strawberry Creme and Chocolate Creme seemed to withstand the temps and stayed "individuals" in their package.  The Sour Watermelon...on the other hand, turned into a big MUSHY sour & sweet mess.  Of course, despite the fact they were melted, we both had a taste our fingers sticky and enjoyed the sweet mess that were Sour Watermelon Peeps.

Ultimately, I was very pleased with these tasty little Peeps Minis!  So was my oldest son!  I know the youngers will love them too! The only problem I see with them, despite the the fact that I would want to sit and eat the entire package in one serving...even though the package says it's enough for 2 1/2.  Ha!  At least they are fat free, gluten free and only 14 calories per chick.  SO YUMMY!

Be on the look out, because these tasty treats might give you just the sweet burst you need...and you don't have to wait until Easter to enjoy them!
