Tis The Season For Christmas PJ's And Hoodies.... FALALALAAAA

It's December 1st!  What does that mean?
THE COUNTDOWN HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN!
Christmas...my absolute favorite holiday, is only a few short weeks away!
Have you started your Christmas shopping?

I was provided with a $100 gift card to shop in the PS Aeropostale store in return for my honest review of the products we received.  I was not offered any other monetary gifts by posting this review/feature!

A Christmas tradition we have in our home is new Christmas PJ's, that they open on Christmas Eve  (because by then, they are really begging to open a present) and we all wear them to bed, so that when we are opening our presents on Christmas morning, we are wearing one of our presents.
This year, PS Aeropostale made my Christmas PJ hunting super easy!  Not only easy, for finding the perfect ones, but easy on the wallet as well!
All three of the youngers received amazing PJ's that will make our present opening experience adorable and comfortable too.  Plus, with the sales they were having, the free shipping I received with my order and the online code I found for an additional amount off, we not only got these, but so much more!

SUPER CUTE, right?
And right now, these pajamas are all on sale!!

As a PS Aeropostale Mommy, I always try my best to use my $100 gift card wisely.  Especially with four kids to shop for (even though our oldest son is now too big for their line of clothing).   As I've said before, PS Aeropostale has amazing sales and typically I get way more for the $100 than I could even buy at a typical department store!!  Plus, they have a clothing line that all three of my youngers love!  They are always excited to see what the newest releases will include...in hopes of their wardrobe continuing to expand more!

As always, I am delighted with the adorable hoodies, long sleeved tee shirt and even the skinny jeans we purchased!  All of the items are true to size and wash up (and I can say...from experience...) and hold up great too!   Despite them actually growing out of the sizes, all of their products wash and wear well and my kids are not easy on clothes!

Plus, their friends always want to know where they get their cute new things...so they are literally a walking billboard just by wearing their awesome clothing line!

You might even catch the last few hours of their EXTENDED CYBER MONDAY SALE!!

Techie Toys For Christmas? 3D Maker and Storytime Theater...We Tried Them Out!

Christmas is only a couple months away!
Can you believe it?
HAVE YOU STARTED YOUR CHRISTMAS SHOPPING?

All products sent for this review/feature were sent free of charge by the company!  I was not offered any monetary compensation by posting my honest opinion about these products!

Every child likes the newest, latest, coolest gadget and gizmo, right?
Here a couple ideas of new products that are just hitting the store shelves:
These two new "techie" toys arrived for us to try out, and we are excited to tell you about them...so you can add them to your kid's Christmas wish list.
The first one we tried tonight, had the kids super excited!  3D printers and the such are all the rave right now!  This 3D Maker takes a gel like liquid, some molds, a curer (kind of like an easy bake oven) and after waiting patiently for a few minutes, you pop the hardened pieces out and construct your 3D objects together.  Seems simple enough, right?  It really is THAT SIMPLE!
We loved how the sea turtle came out.  It also comes with a couple pieces of flat plastic, so you can design your own 3D project...our daughter made a dolphin (she is a bit obsessed) and they even wrote out their names and words.  We even got a little goofy and I used a piece of the cured gel as a faux beard!
It comes with three colors of the liquid and several different stencils, like the turtle, a car, a bridge, a helicopter, etc.  The only thing I found a little frustrating is that it doesn't come with enough of the liquid to really create a LOT of things.  So your kids will only have about 2 completed projects before they will be out and need a refill of the liquid.   With six kids, this could really be a quickly escalating problem!   Aside from that, this 3D Maker was very fun, everyone loved getting into the creative time and we wished would have made even more with it...
The Storytime Theater is something that the younger guys were excited about.  This projector wirelessly connects to an app you download on your ipad or tablet. which just takes a few minutes!  Once you've got it installed, you can project the interactive Disney stories onto a wall, the ceiling or wherever you'd like.
It reads to you the interactive story, gives you the option to read it yourself, etc.
The story lasts about 5 minutes and is very colorful and entertaining.  It comes with the Buzz Lightyear "Buzz' Space Adventure" Press N Play story!
There are several other stories that you can download or purchase the "Press N Play"story with the character to hear others.  These stories cost about $7.99 to download directly from the app store and they have several Disney stories to purchase.  I think this product is awesome and is a great learning device for reading or the perfect "before bedtime" story...but I must admit that the price of the stories is a little high, for a five minute interactive story.  However, if your child likes to hear the same story over and over again, and is a HUGE fan of the Disney characters, this would be a great Christmas present for them and they really will love it!

Dresses For Parties, Weddings and More... Sara's Fashion

The holidays are coming!
Does your family do anything during the holiday months, that requires you to buy "fancier" dress apparel for the kids?
Maybe you are attending a lavish party, taking the kids to a Christmas performance that you get dressed up for, taking family pictures or even attending a wedding during the holidays.

All product for this review/feature was sent free of charge by the company.  I was not offered any monetary compensation by posting my honest opinions about the product.
Regardless your reasons, there is always a REASON to invest $$ in a beautiful dress...especially when you have daughters!
I was delighted to learn about Sara's Fashion and their HUGE selection of party/flower girl/communion dresses!  They have so many styles, colors and selection...when it came to choosing one dress, we had a difficult time.  Especially since our oldest daughter (who really isn't fond of dressing up too much) was the one who volunteered to help me with this feature!

She found one that truly delighted her though...
We selected the Pretty Chiffon dress in the ROYAL BLUE color that was pictured...though it was orderable in several other colors as well.
When it arrived, I was curious to see if it was as "NICE" as the picture made it look, especially since it shipped in a smaller envelope!
To my delight...and her's...it was!
The dress is two layers and has a detachable flower (pin on) that she can either wear if she wants to, or take off if she doesn't.  That will probably depend on her mood.  It has a zipper and tie back and I'd say it passed all our requirements to be a dress she will enjoy wearing for whatever occasion she needs to have a dressier dress for...this fall and winter.
It's beautiful and she feels amazing wearing it!
Plus...this dress was on major sale and cost half of it's suggested retail!  SCORE!!  If you are planning a wedding and need to order dresses for your Junior Bridesmaids or Flower Girls...you may want to start here first.  They have a vast inventory!  And they shipped this dress really quickly to us as well!

Lumination Glow Stick Markers - GLOWING GOOD TIME!

Kids love all things that glow!
That's why GLOW STICKS are such a huge hit!

All products for this review/feature were sent free of charge by the company.  I was not offered any monetary compensation by posting my honest opinion about these products.

So what if I could tell you about a product that took something your kids already love and turned it into a creatively fun activity that will last a few hours after?
Does this sound like something your kids would enjoy playing with?
We received three Lumination Glow Stick Markers to try out!
After following the simple instructions of snapping the tube, shaking and then drawing with these fun glowing markers...we were all in awe of the bright, creative fun.
They really do glow brightly...and they come with felt stickers, so you can attach them to clothing, skateboards, etc.  I think these would be super fun for an outdoor sporting event (football, soccer, etc), to cheer your team on!  You simply crack, shake and draw!  The design you create with the glowing ink will last up to a couple hours.  The thicker you draw your design, the longer it lasts and glows for.
It even comes with a plastic lanyard to make it into a necklace.
These Glow Stick Markers will intrigue and encourage your kids creativity.  We were entertained for about 15 minutes, drawing on the sidewalk and creating our designs.  And of course, enjoying the glowing after effects too.  These are not recommended for use on skin and can stain fabrics and clothing...which is why they come with the felt stickers.

CLICK HERE to learn more about this product and where you can buy your children some.
These would make super fun stocking stuffers for Christmas too!

The Flame Sweet And Spicy Drink @TheFlameMixer

This weekend was HOT...in more ways than one!
I tried drinking something that was pretty spicy too!
A PEPPER style drink!
It was sweet and spicy all in the same sip of the drink.
And yes...this drink is completely 100% family friendly!

All products for this review/feature were purchased on my own behalf.  I was not offered any monetary compensation by offering my honest opinion on these products.
A friendly guy, had a little booth set up outside of a store that carried products that all had some sort of HEAT (pepper heat) to them.  He was offering samples of this "juice like product".  It was called "The FLAME" sweet & spicy cocktail mixer.  When we walked by the first time, I was leery about tasting them...because I didn't want to regret drinking something weird like this.  Especially something that would make my mouth burn for the rest of the day.   You never know with these types of products!  The product rep was really nice, and even suggested that the kids would enjoy it too (non-alcoholic)...so we all had a little taste test.  Once we tried the first flavor (Mango), we had to try the rest...they were that good!   We tried the Watermelon and the Coconut Lime as well and all three were pretty awesome! We walked off buying nothing...but after shopping around, we went back and had to buy some to enjoy for the rest of our afternoon!
We were sold!
Not just me...we all were!  Literally!
It's THAT GOOD!
Oddly enough, the thing about this beverage that I find the weirdest and coolest of all, is that when you drink it, your mouth never really senses the spiciness until you swallow.  You can hold a mouth full of this sweet ice cold beverage in your mouth and your tongue will not burn, it just doesn't!  However, when you swallow, it's the back of your throat that actually catches the burn on the way down.  It's not a horrible burn...but a fun burn!  In the heat of the day, this beverage was not only totally refreshing...my favorite was the Mango flavor, but it has a kick (that just hits you in the back of the throat) that kind of gives you an odd little boost.
It's pretty awesome!  That's why I am writing about it!
I'd totally drink more!
The Flame can be mixed with alcohol, as a mixer...but we drank it the way it was (completely non-alcoholic) and we loved it!
It will leave you wanting more.  At least it did for us!

It's Adorable! Watching Things Grow In Our Garden...

Our first "Baby Pumpkin" is growing!
I am so excited!  HOW FUN IS THIS?
Maybe in a couple months we will actually have a few of these to carve for our Halloween pumpkins!

Growing Pumpkins...

We are trying to at least!
HOME GROWN carving pumpkins...like the ones they carved last year!
As you know, I have a blast planting and caring for my "back patio" garden!  It's soothing to my soul!
Last year, after the kids carved their pumpkins...we saved the seeds and decided to try to plant a few this summer, to see if we could grow our own "homegrown" pumpkin patch.  We dried a full bag of them...so there are plenty to plant and grow if it does end up working out well!
So far, they are growing and blooming!  Whether or not we actually get a pumpkin from the process, is still be seen...but it's always a beautiful process of just simply watching a seed turn into a seedling, then into a baby plant and finally into a beautifully blooming & fruit producing plant.
My fingers are crossed...because how awesome would it be if we didn't have to visit a pumpkin patch (or the nearest Target) to get our pumpkins this year...but instead, we could simply go on our back patio and pick them ourselves!  AWESOMENESS!

I was not paid to feature this post!  I was not compensated in any way by posting about our pumpkins.  All pumpkins purchased for carving last year were purchased on my own behalf.  All opinions are my own!

Who's Ready For Fall?

After a long hot summer...sweating through the intense heat...we always seem to anticipate the much cooler months ahead.  When mornings start out with crisp cool air and a soft gentle breeze.  When the leaves start changing colors into vibrancy, when hot chocolate & hot apple cider are served daily and when wearing jeans and a hoodie on a daily basis is a MUST!  And yes...for those who love FOOTBALL, when football season is in full effect!

I was not paid to feature this post!  I was not compensated or sponsored by any company for posting my thoughts, ideas and opinions about the fall months ahead!
My heart is ready for fall!  What about you?
And so I am going to get you guys excited about it too!
I saw this and it's a great way to plan ahead for some fun "family time" this fall.
It will be here soon...but until then, enjoy the final moments of the summer heat, the double scoops of ice cream and flip flop wearing...until Fall finally arrives!

Ready For Fall With P.S. Aeropostale - CHECK IT OUT!

Fall is right around the corner!
Literally!  And all four of our children are "back to school" and already dreaming of cooler weather!  It has been a hot summer and an especially hot August...so the idea of hoodies, jeans and a brisk morning air sounds delightful to all of us.  How about you?

I was not paid to feature this post!  I was provided a $100 store gift card to purchase items from their new arrivals section, to share with my readers about their upcoming line of clothing.  I was not offered any other compensation for posting my honest thoughts on their products.
As we gear up for the "FALL" weather and months ahead, clothing options are always a huge priority to our girls!  Our little fashionistas want to make sure they look amazing, while staying warm and cozy too.  And then there's our little guy, who always wants to look "GOOD"!
That's why we are always a fan of P.S. Aeropostale's clothing line!
Our oldest daughter loves her hoodies and skinny jeans!  Since she's a middle school student now, looking on top of her game, is a major priority for her.  That never seems to be a problem with P.S. Aeropostale's clothes!  We always find something she really, really loves!  This time it was a surprise (because I did the shopping and surprised them with the purchases) and she was thrilled with my selections!

Our younger daughter loves clothing that is comfortable!  She loves hoodies (and come on...this one is pink with a heart), but also her bottoms must be stretchy and isn't a huge fan of actual jeans!  So we found some amazing leggings that are "acid washed" and give the same look as denim, with far more comfort for her.  She was very, very pleased with these new leggings!
They will probably be her favorite wardrobe item of the fall!

Our little guy loves hoodies too!  Especially with pockets, because he can put his "electronic device" in there so he's hands free.  I did order him jeans as well, but they sent the "husky" size instead of slim...and our little guy is definitely not husky, so I shipped them back to the store.  It's nice they have a hassle free return policy and even send a pre-paid shipping label if you find you need to return something and don't have a store close by!  He loves his new zip hoodie too!
He feels "RAD" wearing it around and wouldn't take it off!

Have you shopped for your kid's fall clothing yet?  May I suggest you shop P.S. Aeropostale first?  They always have amazing sales, as well as extra savings in their stores and online...and they have a large selection of quality clothing for your children to choose from!  In a house with so many opinions, it's nice to find a store where they all enjoy shopping (except for the one that has outgrown their selection size).  Plus, I always manage to get a ton of clothing for under $100.
That's a huge deal with a budget and four kids to dress!

CLICK HERE to check out their new arrivals today!

I was not paid to feature this post!  I was provided a $100 gift card, to spend on their "new arrivals" section of clothing.   All opinions and comments are solely my own!  I was not offered any other compensation by posting my honest thoughts!

It's Official...

Tomorrow, they head back to the crowded hallways, school bells and alarm clocks!
To books and reports cards and field trips!
I have no idea where the summer went...or how it went so quickly, but tomorrow...summer is officially over for our kids!  This year, we have an 8th grader, 6th grader, 4th grader and 2nd grader to watch expand in their knowledge and skills!
So fun and what an amazing delight!

May the 2015-2016 school year be BLESSED!

#StarWarsCereal Your Favorite General Mills Cereal And Star Wars... @GeneralMills

STAR WARS return to the big screen, in a big way this winter!

This year, one of the biggest movies will be hitting the big screen and our oldest son is so excited about it!  We've watched the trailers and talked about the other movies and now we just have to wait for "THE FORCE" to arrive!  Though he may not be the very first in line for the premier...he will definitely be desperate (and probably begging us) to see it as soon as it's in the theater.

All products for this review/feature were sent free of charge by the company.  I was not offered any monetary compensation by posting my honest opinion about the products featured!
So when we had the chance to receive a couple boxes of the General Mills Big G "specially marked" boxes of cereal, that included a Classic Star Wars poster inside, I knew that both of my boys would be thrilled.  This is not the first time General Mills has teamed up with Star Wars either!  Our youngest son loves pretty much everything our oldest son loves! Though this might drive him a little bonkers at times, it's because he admires and wants to be like his big brother.

They sent us an extra poster, and we just happened to receive two boxes of cereal that had the same poster (Phantom Menace).  But neither of our boys were disappointed.  In fact, they were very happy with their new posters...especially since they each got one of the same posters.  Our youngest son exclaimed, "I'm going to hang this above my bed so I can see it before I go to sleep every night!"  Plus, I couldn't open these boxes of cereal fast enough for these growing boys, so they could eat the contents inside!
Be on the lookout for these "SPECIALLY MARKED" boxes of General Mills Cereal and grab a couple for your Star Wars fans to enjoy too.
It's going to make their daily breakfast experience little bit of a more exciting...as they anticipate the new movie and drift off into... "a long time ago, in a galaxy far...far away!"
