A Backpack With A Cause And Mission - The @CarriCollection

One of the essentials for school every year for our kids is backpacks.  It's funny...because it's actually been a topic of conversation this year, in particular with my kids, because of the grades they are in and the demands of their backpack loads.  In fact, our oldest son has already gone through two backpacks (yes you read that right) this school year already, because of the weight and wear/tear has been ruining his common, purchased at a department store backpack.  And all four got backpacks from mommy for Christmas, because I knew that they would be needing new ones before the school year was through...

The product sent for this review/feature was sent free of charge by the company.  I was not offered any monetary compensation by posting my honest opinion about this product!

A part of me feels bad saying that we've gone through two backpacks already, when there are so many children who's parents can't even afford to get them a backpack PERIOD.
I mean, think about it!  It's humbling to realize how privileged our kids are.

So, what if I could tell you about a company that not only offers two amazing backpacks, with more compartments and storage places than any other backpack I have ever seen...but also has a mission behind it, that offers a backpack of the same quality to a child who wouldn't be able to afford one in the first place?
The Carri Collection is just that!  A backpack with a cause and mission!

This product and company was started by a mother/son duo who wanted to do a little something to help those who are less fortunate, kids who are carrying plastic garbage bags to school because they can't afford a backpack.  Children who's self esteem is being negatively effected by not having the means to afford a simple thing like that.
Now...to tell you that this backpack is not your ordinary backpack!  It really isn't!
We received the Carri Original:

Tablet pouch

This bag is awesome (like I said before, probably the nicest made backpack I've ever seen) and our oldest son cannot wait to carry it to school.  I have doubt that this bag will survive the school year and beyond!
