General Mills and Skylanders - The Perfect PRIZE COMBO

I was a child of the 80's.  I grew up eating a bowl of cereal before school in the morning and definitely while watching my Saturday morning cartoons!  Now...when it came to picking out what cereal my sister and I wanted our mom to buy at the store...depended on what was the best "PRIZE" in the boxes.

Do you remember?

All products were sent free of charge by the company!  I was not offered any monetary compensation by posting my honest opinion about the products sent for this review/feature!

Just like Saturday morning cartoons, some things from my childhood have faded away...but sometimes, things come around full circle and make me reminiscent of my childhood.
I was so excited that General Mills, right now, has specially marked boxes of cereal that include EXCLUSIVE Skylander Trap Team Skystones games inside.  This is definitely a reason my boys would pick this brand of cereal.
Of course, General Mills also makes some of my children's favorites anyway...okay, mommy's too!
We received Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Trix, both are big favorites of my kids!  Inside each box (and we also received two other packets), there are boxes of the Skylander Trap Team Skystone card sets inside.  On the back of the boxes, there are is game board, for your children to challenge their siblings or friends.  They also have an app that you can download on your tablet or phone, and you can use the code on each card box to add your collection.
There are four sets of cards to collect!
This was a total hit with my kids!  In fact, even my daughter got excited about the cereal and the games with her little brother.  They enjoyed the bowls of cereal and the fun, exciting new game inside.
