If You Plant A Seed by Kadir Nelson

It's Spring Time...and I am all about planting seeds and watching things grow!  In fact, I just planted lettuce, spinach and zucchini in the back...along with the other plants that grew from seeds last year.

Watching plants grow and flourish is something wonderful and miraculous.  To take a dried out, tiny little seed and see a huge plant, with fruit, become of something truly fun & amazing to watch.  My children and I had a blast last year, with our back patio garden...of sorts.

So we received this adorable book from Harper Collins Publishing and you're going to love reading this one to your kids...
If You Plant A Seed by Kadir Nelson shares more than just a story about planting seeds...though it does talk about it too.  It talks about how if you plant selfishness, it too can grow.  And if you plant kindness, it too can grow.  It's really all about what we choose to plant and grow in our own lives really, right?
Even small children can understand this simple concept of reaping what we sow.
Not just crop wise, but in life as well.
This book has adorable illustrations and the simple and short story will touch you and your children as you read it.
