@DaySpring - Sadie Robertson Live Original Line

When I was in high school (I think my junior year), on my birthday...I was given a very sweet gift.  One I didn't, at the time, realize I would cherish like I do.  A journal!  It was a Christian journal with scripture at the bottom of each page.  I remember spending evenings writing about moments in my life...big things and little things.  Happy details about my day and things that bothered me.  Journaling was important...and it's so fun to look back and re-read those moments now.  I am so glad I spent the time to journal back then.

I remember reading the scriptures, as I was writing my entries, and it really gave me perspective on things, sometimes...just when I needed it!
MIDDLE SCHOOL & HIGH SCHOOL ARE NOT EASY!
I needed the encouragement!
All of us do, at that age!

All products for this review/feature were sent free of charge by the company.  I was not offered any monetary compensation by posting my honest opinion about these products!
So when I was asked by DaySpring to check out this new "school supplies" line...that has a bit of a celebrity backing (celebrities that the kids and I personally enjoy)...I couldn't say no!
In fact, I was super excited to check out what they sent me!

So when the package arrived, I was even more excited as I pulled everything out of the box.  Not only was each thing girly & super encouraging (not to mention absolutely adorable) but each thing was something I knew our daughters were going to fight over...the second they got home from school.
They were going to love this stuff!
We received two journals, a magnet set (these are great for the inside of a locker), a pack of "scripture shareable" cards, and a package of darling sticky notes set.
Sadie Robertson, best known as the daughter of one of those bearded duck hunting Christians on "Duck Dynasty" is the inspiration behind this line!  I love that!  She has a book that is being released in October (Live Original) and these products go hand-in-hand with that launch.
Now...if I was in high school again...I'll admit these school supplies are exactly what I would choose.  Why?  They make the sweetest inspirational statement! High school is hard!  Kids can be really mean...especially if you are standing up for something you personally believe in (your faith).  Take it from someone who walked in those shoes in high school.  These products offer positive and encouraging scriptures...gently...to not only encourage the person using the journal or magnets, but also to those who they chose to share with...the scripture shareable cards are perfect for that.
It's funny...I was right!  Our girls were super excited to "share" these school supplies with each other.  In fact, they each had a journal that was immediately their favorite, so there was no fighting.  I am excited for our girls to journal.  It's a great way to get your feelings out...on paper.  Our oldest daughter will be starting middle school next year.  HOLY COW!  It's something that they can look back on fondly, and giggle about the stories they write about or the feelings they feel.
At least, that's my experience with my journals from my past.
They can use the sticky notes (in the background of the picture above) to send messages to friends or even encourage their teachers.  You never know...it might be exactly the "pick me up" their teacher will need.  They can share with their friends some encouragement too!
I LOVE THIS PRODUCT LINE!
Almost makes me wish I was in high school again, so I could use these products and share a little extra "LIGHT" in the public school system!
We only got a small sample of this amazing line...that is soon to be released.  If you're a teenage girl, you have a teenage girl or even middle school girls, who you are wanting to encourage in tough years of school, keep this product line in mind for gift giving or personally using yourself.

I was not paid to feature this post!  I was compensated only by the product sent for this review/feature!
