It's Adorable! Watching Things Grow In Our Garden...

Our first "Baby Pumpkin" is growing!
I am so excited!  HOW FUN IS THIS?
Maybe in a couple months we will actually have a few of these to carve for our Halloween pumpkins!

Growing Pumpkins...

We are trying to at least!
HOME GROWN carving pumpkins...like the ones they carved last year!
As you know, I have a blast planting and caring for my "back patio" garden!  It's soothing to my soul!
Last year, after the kids carved their pumpkins...we saved the seeds and decided to try to plant a few this summer, to see if we could grow our own "homegrown" pumpkin patch.  We dried a full bag of them...so there are plenty to plant and grow if it does end up working out well!
So far, they are growing and blooming!  Whether or not we actually get a pumpkin from the process, is still be seen...but it's always a beautiful process of just simply watching a seed turn into a seedling, then into a baby plant and finally into a beautifully blooming & fruit producing plant.
My fingers are crossed...because how awesome would it be if we didn't have to visit a pumpkin patch (or the nearest Target) to get our pumpkins this year...but instead, we could simply go on our back patio and pick them ourselves!  AWESOMENESS!

I was not paid to feature this post!  I was not compensated in any way by posting about our pumpkins.  All pumpkins purchased for carving last year were purchased on my own behalf.  All opinions are my own!

Who's Ready For Fall?

After a long hot summer...sweating through the intense heat...we always seem to anticipate the much cooler months ahead.  When mornings start out with crisp cool air and a soft gentle breeze.  When the leaves start changing colors into vibrancy, when hot chocolate & hot apple cider are served daily and when wearing jeans and a hoodie on a daily basis is a MUST!  And yes...for those who love FOOTBALL, when football season is in full effect!

I was not paid to feature this post!  I was not compensated or sponsored by any company for posting my thoughts, ideas and opinions about the fall months ahead!
My heart is ready for fall!  What about you?
And so I am going to get you guys excited about it too!
I saw this and it's a great way to plan ahead for some fun "family time" this fall.
It will be here soon...but until then, enjoy the final moments of the summer heat, the double scoops of ice cream and flip flop wearing...until Fall finally arrives!

Ready For Fall With P.S. Aeropostale - CHECK IT OUT!

Fall is right around the corner!
Literally!  And all four of our children are "back to school" and already dreaming of cooler weather!  It has been a hot summer and an especially hot August...so the idea of hoodies, jeans and a brisk morning air sounds delightful to all of us.  How about you?

I was not paid to feature this post!  I was provided a $100 store gift card to purchase items from their new arrivals section, to share with my readers about their upcoming line of clothing.  I was not offered any other compensation for posting my honest thoughts on their products.
As we gear up for the "FALL" weather and months ahead, clothing options are always a huge priority to our girls!  Our little fashionistas want to make sure they look amazing, while staying warm and cozy too.  And then there's our little guy, who always wants to look "GOOD"!
That's why we are always a fan of P.S. Aeropostale's clothing line!
Our oldest daughter loves her hoodies and skinny jeans!  Since she's a middle school student now, looking on top of her game, is a major priority for her.  That never seems to be a problem with P.S. Aeropostale's clothes!  We always find something she really, really loves!  This time it was a surprise (because I did the shopping and surprised them with the purchases) and she was thrilled with my selections!

Our younger daughter loves clothing that is comfortable!  She loves hoodies (and come on...this one is pink with a heart), but also her bottoms must be stretchy and isn't a huge fan of actual jeans!  So we found some amazing leggings that are "acid washed" and give the same look as denim, with far more comfort for her.  She was very, very pleased with these new leggings!
They will probably be her favorite wardrobe item of the fall!

Our little guy loves hoodies too!  Especially with pockets, because he can put his "electronic device" in there so he's hands free.  I did order him jeans as well, but they sent the "husky" size instead of slim...and our little guy is definitely not husky, so I shipped them back to the store.  It's nice they have a hassle free return policy and even send a pre-paid shipping label if you find you need to return something and don't have a store close by!  He loves his new zip hoodie too!
He feels "RAD" wearing it around and wouldn't take it off!

Have you shopped for your kid's fall clothing yet?  May I suggest you shop P.S. Aeropostale first?  They always have amazing sales, as well as extra savings in their stores and online...and they have a large selection of quality clothing for your children to choose from!  In a house with so many opinions, it's nice to find a store where they all enjoy shopping (except for the one that has outgrown their selection size).  Plus, I always manage to get a ton of clothing for under $100.
That's a huge deal with a budget and four kids to dress!

It's Official...

Tomorrow, they head back to the crowded hallways, school bells and alarm clocks!
To books and reports cards and field trips!
I have no idea where the summer went...or how it went so quickly, but tomorrow...summer is officially over for our kids!  This year, we have an 8th grader, 6th grader, 4th grader and 2nd grader to watch expand in their knowledge and skills!
So fun and what an amazing delight!

May the 2015-2016 school year be BLESSED!
